Adiv Ladoo Recipe

Equipment

  • Gas stove, Kadhai, Spatula, Mixing Pot, Measuring Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Adiv Seeds
  • 1.5 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1/2-1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 Cup Jaggery
  • 2 Tbspn Ghee

Instructions
 

  • Soak Adiv seeds in just enough amount of Coconut Water and allow them to rest for 5-10mins for the seeds to absorb this coconut water
  • Once the water disappears, add a little more water and allow the water to be soaked again after resting. Check and repeat the process till you see the adiv seeds are well soaked and soft.
  • Now to this well soaked Adiv Seeds, add grated coconut and mix well. Keep Aside
  • Warm a kadai, to that add gud and allow to melt. Keep stirring continuously to prevent it from getting burnt.
  • Once the jaggery melts, add coconut a nd adiv mixture to this melted jaggery.
  • Add ghee to this mixture and keep cooking till the whole mixture comes together. Once the liquid evaporates, turn the gas off and allow to cool
  • Once the mixture becomes cool enough to handle, start making ladoos and store in an air tight box
  • Eat as a mid meal and enjoy!
