How are we different?

We are different because we work towards empowering you to take charge of your health and fitness. No one but you can identify how much and when you need to eat. I always share with my clients that a mother of a new born is taught to follow a ‘demand feed patter’ for the baby, so every time the baby demands, the mother is supposed to feed. We all were born with this instinct to identify our body’s need for food; however we over the years have been so engulfed by the momentary, shallow charms of the outside world that we have lost that connection with our inner self: our best friend.

We therefore help you rebuild this relationship with proper understanding of food so you are able to make informed choices about what to choose and what to avoid at meetings, buffets, social occasions and vacations. Thus ours is not a plan that you are ‘on’ for a few months and are lost when you are ‘off’ it. Its a lifetime approach towards a happy, healthy, fit and meaningful life.

What is the duration of the sessions?

The first session is anywhere between 1- 1.5 hours. In this session we try and understand your routine, your relationship with food, family, sleep, exercise and everything in between (because health is a cumulative effect of different factors) and educate you with the basics of the programme.

The follow-up sessions are for 30 minutes where we listen to your feedback, your experience on the programme, the challenges you faced and how you succeeded or struggled.

We are where we are today only because we continue to learn from each situation, experience and client, so these are our ‘rejoice in learning’ sessions.

What about online sessions?

These are no different in duration than the regular sessions, the only difference being that we interact with you over the phone / Skype and email. In fact many clients based in Delhi too avail these services to avoid travel, waiting at the clinic, traffic and especially mothers with small kids. There is no difference absolutely in terms of quality of service.

So would I be asked to exercise too?

Yes, exercise and healthy diet are two sides of the coin of lifestyle. These together with disciplined routine form pillars of a healthy and fit body. Diet plays the vital role but exercise helps develop strength, stamina and flexibility which, along with correct diet gives the much desired toned look. We would suggest you to do exercises based on your interests (cardio, strength training, yoga, dance, spinning, running) and health. Our main aim would be to assist you develop a gradually challenging routine to complement your eating pattern. The only thing you will have to do would be to perform the exercise 😉

I Have Diabetes/ Heart Problem/ any other health concern, will that be attended to?

Absolutely, we work with key attention to clinical condition/s of clients. We are not a weight loss clinic, rather our focus is holistic well- being and food education, knowledge based on which you can make informed choices and no longer fear food. This is one of the reasons why you are advised to bring your blood test reports in, at the time of your first consultation.

How do I pay for the online sessions?

The payment for the online sessions can be made through cheque or direct/online transfer of amount in our bank account. The details of the same are mentioned under the ‘Sign Up’ tab in Services panel on our website. The payment has to be made in advance to your session.
