Dear Informed Health, Thank you for helping me achieve my target. I was 62 kgs when I joined the programme. I am 5’4” tall. My weight wasn’t much but I looked heavier than I was. After 2 pregnancies my body had put on weight on all possible places arms, tummy, and thighs. With the 2 month programme i lost upto 3 kgs and 1 inch around my tummy. I started fitting in my old clothes. Skin started to glow and I felt more energetic. Madhavi from Informed Health was always there to help and guide me through. Sometimes I’d send her message on whatsapp when the hour was not decent enough to call at other times I”d call her.

The food choices given were from the food that I eat and not something that I detest and for sake of weight loss I had to eat. If I’d ask for a change of particular item, I was suggested an alternative. Food would change every 15 days so it did not get boring. Nutritional value was also taken into account so I was eating more healthy snack instead of Haldiram Bhujia. Broad spectrum of food was available including carbohydrates.

Please go for it. Just as we visit Doctor or Lawyer for professional guidance, for food we need a nutritionist to guide us through something that we do at-least 6 times a day(eating). Thanks again and cheers. Keep the good work going.

I started with accompanying Vanshika to Ms Madhavi, but was tempted to start myself when I saw my daughter was given healthy food to eat as I being a mother have been against my daughter doing any ‘crash diets’. I had a problem of water retension and swelling. With meals that I was given and exercise programme developed, my digestion improved, my acidity medications reduced and swelling from my legs and face faded away. The food that I consume now and the decisions I take regarding what to eat/avoid are informed choices based on your advice. The food education you provided, especially tips about ensuring that I eat carbs and proteins together, has been very helpful.
